A Christian Cafe
Tonight, Chris and I went to a cafe down the street from John and Gao Foua's house in Aliquippa. It is a Christian cafe run by missionaries from Australia. There was a stage where folks could play and sing. There was a book case with Bibles and other Christian books. Then, there was a good group of volunteers who were there to witness to the folks who came into the cafe. It is a great example of intentional evangelism. The food is even sold at a cost recovery price so that even people who do not have much money can come in and have something to eat or drink.
It is a great ministry, but also, it is sad to think that we would need missionaries to come to America, when we have so many churches. We need to ask God to forgive us for that, and we need to be more intentional about our evangelism. America is in grave need of an awakening. I hope you are fasting and praying with me for God to send His blessing on our church family and on our nation.
Tomorrow, I intend to read psalms 126-128 and I Corinthians 10:19-33.
