Nothing is too Hard for God - Jeremiah 32-33 and Hebrews 1

When Jeremiah prayed to the Lord and confessed that "nothing is too hard for You", he was showing a great faith in an All-Powerful God. It was that faith that allowed him to buy a field near Jerusalem during the siege of the land by Babylon. He knew that God could and would cause the people to return to the land. That deed would not go unused. It would be there for his family when they returned. That is the kind of faith God wants us to have in Him. He said, "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know." We must not limit God to what we know or what we can conceive. God can do anything! What is He leading you to do? Are you willing to do it, even if it does not make sense to you, because you know nothing is too hard for God?

The author of Hebrews wrote to us under the inspiration of God about the true nature of Jesus Christ. He was not an angel or a lesser god. He was the Son of God. He was and is the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person. He was God in human flesh. He was totally God and totally man at the same time. Do you believe that God can and did do that? Remember, nothing is too hard for God, not even the incarnation of God in human flesh. We live in a world that limits God to what is reasonable to us, but we must not give in to the wisdom of this world. We must trust that He can do anything, except the wrong thing. He is holy and All-Powerful. What are you facing today? Go to the One who can do anything, and ask Him to do His will in your life.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Jeremiah 34-36 and Hebrews 2.
