The Lord Separates the Righteous from the Unrighteous - Leviticus 8-10 and Matthew 25:31-46
God is the ultimate separator. He is the Judge. No one can question His judgment. He accepted Aaron and his sons, because they consecrated themselves before Him and their actions showed that their hearts were right. Then, He killed Aarons' sons, Nadab and Abihu, because their actions showed that their hearts were not right. That was a drastic action, but God is the separator. Then, we read about the ultimate judgment in Matthew 25 when Jesus will separate the sheep and the goats. He will judge their hearts, but it will be evident in their actions, too. None of us can question God's judgment. No one can argue with God and win. We should accept that fact. He is God. We are not. He will decide which side we end up on, either the righteous or the unrighteous. We need to make sure we have hearts that are right with Him and lives that are pleasing to Him, because His judgment is thorough, and He separates completely.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Leviticus 11-12 and Matthew 26:1-25.
