Jesus' Coming Foretold

God has always been actively involved in His creation in the universe and here on earth. God came and walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Jesus appeared in pre-incarnation visits to the earth when He visited Abraham, Joshua and others. Then, Jesus came to be born into this world as the God/Man. He died for our sins, rose from the grave, and ascended back to heaven, assuring us that He was going to come back again.

The prophet Zechariah foretold the second coming of Jesus even before He was born into this world. (Zechariah 2:11) He told us that many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day and become God's people. He will dwell in our midst, and we will know that the Lord of armies has sent Him to us. That is a prophetic promise we can count on coming true.

Jesus' second coming has two parts. The first part is the Rapture of the Church. Jesus will come in the skies and all of the believers, dead and alive, will be caught up to meet Him in the air. We will receive our eternal bodies, and He will take us back to heaven for the Judgment Seat of the Lamb and the Marriage Feast of the Lamb, which take place while the Tribulation is happening on the earth.

Then, at the end of the 7 year Tribulation Jesus will descend from heaven riding on a white horse followed by all of us as believers and the armies of heaven. He will end the battle of Armageddon with the sword of His mouth, the Word of God. Then, He will enter Jerusalem through the Eastern gate to take His place among us, reigning for 1,000 years. That is when the nations will stream to Him and many will become His people. I pray that we will all be ready, because this could start happening at any moment.
