Is God Looking Out For You?
Many people have a false conception of God, because they think He is hard to find, and they must implore Him for help. The opposite is true for those who are loyal to Him. He is looking all over the earth for those who are loyal to Him, so He can show Himself strong on their behalf.(II Chronicles 16:9) So, is He looking out for you?
I love this verse because it shows the heart of God. If we are loyal to Him, we do not have to wait on the Lord to help us after we engage in hours of prayer. Yes, we are to pray about everything, and He loves our prayers. However, He is not sitting back having to be convinced to help us, if we are one of His loyal children. He is coming after us to look after us when we need help. That is such a comforting thought!
I pray that we will put our trust in the Lord and be loyal to Him. King Asa was not loyal to God, so instead of being protected by God, He had wars the rest of his life. That is a huge difference. Would you rather God fight for you, or have others fight against you without His help?
Tomorrow, I intend to read II Chronicles 19-21.
