Great Delight in His Commandments
The Bible gives us many promises. All of those promises will be kept by God, because He is always faithful. One of those promises is found in Psalm 112:1. God promises to bless the person who fears Him and greatly delights in His commandments. I am afraid this is a hard one for many people. It is a struggle for many people to keep God's commandments, instead of being a great delight. We need to change our hearts about that.
God's commandments are for our good. They do not cramp us or bind us, they set us free to enjoy the abundant life. It we fear the Lord, we know that His power and plan are perfect, so we must not fight against Him, but follow Him. Then, we can delight in doing His commandments, even if it makes us different from other people, or it is not what we want to do. After all, He is Lord.
Why not decide to fear the Lord and greatly delight in His commandments, then see what happens? I guarantee He will bless you.
