Opportunity Knocks
There is an old saying, "Opportunity only knocks once." I don't think that is always true, but there is at least a principle in this saying. We have to be ready to capture an opportunity when it comes along, because it might be the only time we have that chance.
As we talked to Jeff and Lori last night, we spoke about the window of opportunity to reach the Japanese people while their hearts are open, because of the tragic situation in their country. The missionaries are ready to seize the opportunity. We all need to pray fervently for them. We also need to pray for the Lord to engineer the circumstances to open the window of opportunity as wide as possible for as long as possible. Between our prayers and the efforts of the Christians in Japan, I know the Lord can do a great work of grace.
Please, take a minute to look at the pictures Jeff posted and to pray. Then, pray as often as possible for the power of God to touch the hearts of the people of Japan.
