Refreshing Restoration
As tired as I was last night, and as much as I needed that "think time", this morning I am refreshed and ready to go because of a couple of hours of "unhurried time" with Jesus. He is so good to know exactly what I need. One of my verses this morning was Psalms 23:3 in which David proclaims confidently, "He restores my soul." Sometimes, the restoration comes in the morning of a new day. Sometimes, it comes through an extended time of rest. Each time the Lord knows just what is needed to restore my mind, will, and emotions for His glory and His service. I praise the Lord for being a wonderful Shepherd to me and to all who rely upon Him for our daily sustenance. He is always more than adequate.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Numbers 20-22 and Mark 7:1-13.
