God's Mercies Never End
Today, we get to meditate on one of the greatest promises in the Bible. Since we all fail to live up to the Lord's standards, we all need His mercy every day. Praise the Lord, His mercies never end. They are new every morning. We can always count on God's faithful love, because His faithfulness is great. We can confidently put our hope in Him and know that He is enough to supply all we need. (Lamentations 3:22-24) Let's explore this great promise, which Jeremiah recorded for us in his lamentations for God's people.
If it wasn't for the faithful love of the Lord, we would all perish. We can't make it without His mercies. He is always there to punish us less than we deserve. He is there to give us another chance to trust Him. Since His mercies never end, we can know that each morning when we get up, His mercies are there for us for that day. If He is our Portion, we can live without fear, because He is so faithful. We can know that He holds us, and He has our future in His hands. This precious promise for the children of God is based on our faithful trust in Him. However, once we trust the Lord, we can be assured that He is there for us, no matter what happens. This is true for every day we live, until we go to be with Him in heaven.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Lamentations 5 and Ezekiel 1-2.
