God's Purpose for Your Life
Why were you born into this world? What is the purpose God has for your life? I am afraid many of us have never considered these questions as we should. When we read the book of Esther, we come to the realization that there are no coincidences with the Lord. He has created us and gifted us to fulfill His purpose. This is true for each of us, whether we are a believer or not. Esther was made by God to be a very attractive lady, so that she could become the queen of Persia at the right time in history to save her people, the Jews. She was adopted by her relative, Mordecai, and raised to have a strong faith in God, so she could be the instrument of relief and deliverance for her people. (Esther 4:14) This pivotal verse should give each of us direction in our lives.
God is very involved in all of His creation. He loves every person. He designed us in His wisdom and love to be in relationship with Him and to serve Him in a very specific way. We were born when and where we were born for a reason. God wants us to have a very fulfilling life in which we accomplish His purpose here, and we live with Him in heaven forever. This is true no matter how smart or beautiful we are. God can and will use anyone who trusts Him and obeys Him. Of course, we all have a choice, just like Esther had. She could have missed fulfilling her purpose. That would have been a terrible tragedy for her, and it is the worst thing that can happen to any believer. When we stand before the Lord, we will have to give an account for why we failed the Lord, and it will be a very painful experience. Please, trust Jesus as your Lord and submit to Him ,so you can fulfill His purpose for your life. That is the best life you can have.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Esther 6-8.
