I'm All In
"I'm all in." That is a new way of saying that someone is totally committed to a cause or a movement. I like it because it uses the word "all." When it comes to making a covenant or commitment with the Lord, we must be "all in," or we are not in at all. The people of Israel told Moses they were all in, so it is nothing new, only a new way of saying it. (Exodus 24:7) What about you? Are you all in?
Moses read Israel the part of the Bible they had at that time, and the people pledged to do it all and to be obedient. Now, we have the entire Bible, and we must pledge to do the same thing. The Bible is totally inspired by God. It is all true. It is all for us to live in a love relationship with God. We need to be all in with the Bible, so we can be all in with the Lord.
I would challenge each of us to make this commitment, "All that the Lord has said we will do and be obedient." Get all in, and see what God does for those who are totally committed to Him.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Exodus 27-30.
