Lifting Up Jesus
The Bible is very clear in saying that Jesus is Lord. He is the One who holds everything together. He is God who became flesh so He could live a sinless life and die for our sins as the Perfect Sacrifice. He loves us, and takes care of every believer in so many ways. How many wonderful things He has done for each of us who belong to Him!
However, how often do we lift Him up in front of people who don't know Him? How often do we tell them these things? Sometimes, we might do the opposite by complaining, being negative, and saying that we are so stressed. They must not think Jesus is very powerful, if He can't help us with those things. Then, we wonder why they don't want to trust Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Let's sow the seeds of the gospel everywhere we go, so the Spirit can use them to touch hearts. Let's remember to show them our Wonderful Lord, Jesus, and tell what He has done for us. Then, let's watch them be drawn to Him by the Spirit who uses our actions and our words that show them how fantastic He is.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Malachi 3-4 and Matthew 1.
