The Cause of September 11, 2001
This morning we were privileged to have Dr. Richard Freeman for Chosen People Ministries as our guest speaker on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. I would recommend Richard to you as a faithful missionary to the Jewish people. He gave a message about "Peace in the Middle East." However, he had to explain that there will be no peace in the Holy Land until Jesus Christ reigns from Jerusalem, because the descendants of Ishmael will not agree to peace. Satan is using them to fight against God's plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. When Satan could not keep Jesus from being born, and his plan to kill Jesus failed, when Jesus rose again, he decided to keep up his attacks on the Jewish people. Of course, Satan hates Christians, too. He is going to keep pushing for the destruction of Israel and Christianity until Jesus comes and throws him into the bottomless pit during the 1,000 year reign of Jesus on the earth.
We must stand up for Christ and for the nation of Israel in every way we can. We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem as the Bible commands us to do. We must realize that Satan will use Islam or any means he can to try to defeat the Lord, but he is powerless to stop God's plan from unfolding to the proper conclusion. God wants every Moslem to be saved. He wants every Jew to be saved. He commands us, as believers to share the gospel with all of the people groups. That is the way to peace, one soul at a time, since Satan will not give up in his battle to thwart the Lord's will.
As we remember 9-11-01, please remember it is a spiritual struggle. It represents a battle in the war that is raging. Many innocent people died that day, because that is how Satan works. He deceived the terrorists to believe they would have a special reward for killing those innocent people. He is cunning, but no match for God. As we remember the first responders and our military, we need to honor their courage to stand up in the face of death. We need to have the courage of the Holy Spirit to stand up for Jesus and truth in much the same way that they stood up for what is right and good on that day. God will overcome, but He is waiting for us to do our part in the kingdom struggle. Don't leave this world without fighting the power of Satan in the Spirit's power, and please, do not leave this world without taking others to heaven with you by telling them about Jesus.
Tomorrow, i intend to read Ezekiel 34-36
