God's Provision
I love to tell stories about the goodness and the provision of God in the lives of His children. It happens often, but I never get tired of hearing about it or telling it.
The car we found for John and Gao Foua is an older model, and it has had a couple of problems since we bought it. This last time it needed a rheostat for the fan. In most cars it would cost about $30 for the part and a little labor. However, on this car the part costs $200 with about $50 labor. That was a lot more than John wanted to pay, and I agreed with him. I told him that he might find one at a junk yard for a good price, and we started praying. His friend is a mechanic, and he went to the junk yard for John. The man at the counter had the part, which someone had already pulled off of a car, thinking it was the part they needed, but it wasn't. So his friend simply paid a small amount and put it on for a total of $50. Isn't that a great example of God's power and provision? God knew they we coming, so He had the other man take it off for them.
If we trust Him, God provides for us in various ways, which are all wonderful. The key is patient faith and prayer.
