We are on God's Mind
What do you think that God is thinking about all the time? Yes, I know He is the Lord of all. He is the King of the universe. However, He is not busy with all of the details of running His creation. Remember, He is outside of time and space. He is not limited to doing one thing at a time. He is with each of us every second of every day. We are on His mind all of the time. We can't get away from God, and we shouldn't want to. We should be in awe that He cares so much.
Job was in great pain and suffering which caused him to think about God and about himself. He knew that God was right there with him. (Job 7:17,18) Job asked God, "What are people that You should make so much of us, that You should think of us so often? For You examine us every morning and test us every moment." Just think about what Job tells us here. What did God see when He examined you this morning? How is He testing you right now? We need to be aware of these things all the time.
God cares! God is love! Love pays attention. Love does not forget the object of love. God makes a big deal about us because He loves us, and He has created us in His image, as His special creation. He did this to have a close personal relationship with us, and He is always pursuing that relationship. Are we aware of this? Are we seeking that relationship with Him all the time, or are we going our own way most of the time? Our answer makes a huge difference in our lives.
God is watching each of us to see how we are doing with what He is asking us to do at the moment and what He has commanded us to do all of the time. Every morning He examines us to see our spiritual and physical condition. He knows what we are capable of doing, and He leads us to do His will, knowing we are able to do what He has told us. Then, He continues to test us every moment, so we never depart from His mind and His heart. He wants us to succeed and live in the joy of His presence. I pray that is what all of us will do.
