A Person of Complete Integrity

As believers, we need to live our lives to the highest possible standards. The reason for this is that God has set those standards to guide us to have the best possible life here on this earth. It also is the way we are to glorify God, which is our highest purpose in life. Everything we do and say should point people to God and give them the correct view of His holiness and love. If we don't do those things, our lives will not go well and the judgment time will be very hard for us.

Job was a great example of how a believer should live. His story is amazing when we see how he lived before his trials, as he endured the trials, and after his life was restored by God. (Job 1:1) Job lived in the land of Uz, and he was blameless. He was a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. See what I mean? We can learn a lot about how to live on this earth by looking at Job's life.

We all ought to strive to be blameless. That doesn't mean that we will be sinless. None of us can live without any sin, until we get to heaven. However, it does mean that most of the time we do God's will, and when we fail to do God's will, we confess those sins and make them right with other people when others are involved. That way others can't blame us for doing the wrong thing, even when we have sinned, because we sought forgiveness and made restitution.

Also, we should all live in the fear of God all of the time. The fear of God is having the highest respect for God, respecting His power and holiness, so much that we are afraid of what He will do to us, if we do sin. When we have that kind of respect and fear for God, we worship Him and honor Him the way we should, and we will be highly motivated to stay away from evil of any kind. So the result of this is complete integrity. We are the same person in public and in private, because we are consistent in doing the right things.
