The Results of God's Judgment Day

I hope we all take plenty of time considering God's Judgment Day. It is coming. We will all stand before the Lord and give an account of our life. Of course, there are two separate times of judgment, one for the believers and one for the unbelievers. All believers will reside in God's presence forever, but we still have to give an account of our life. All unbelievers will be separated from God for eternity, but they still have to answer for their life. God's Judgment Day is for us to receive the fruit of what we have done in our life. (Isaiah 3:10,11) God is the Ultimate Fruit Inspector. He knows our hearts, and He knows all we have done, so He alone is qualified to judge our fruit.

God told Isaiah to inform the righteous, the believers, that the Judgment Day would go well for them. The reason that is true is that every righteous person will bear fruit for the Lord. (John 15:1-8) We may bear a little fruit, more fruit, or much fruit. Therefore, at the Judgment Day we will eat the fruit of what we have done for the Lord with the right motives, whether a little or a lot. I pray that we all might bear much fruit and so glorify the Lord to the maximum. After all, we could not bear any fruit without Him. However, the unbelievers, the wicked, will have a bad time on their Judgment Day. Since they did not believe in the Lord and receive the Holy Spirit to guide and empower them to do God's will, they will have no fruit to eat. They will receive back the things they have done in their lives. They separated themselves from God, so they will be eternally away from God completely. They committed many kinds of sins, and they will experience what those things do to others. That is why we need to consider well the Judgment Day of God, but even more than that, we need to put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, confess Him before others, and live for Him every day after that.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Isaiah 5-7.
