God's Faithful Love Endures Forever

When King David was able to bring the ark of God up to Jerusalem the correct way, it was a fantastic day of praise and worship. There were all types of instruments used for the singing, trumpets blown, and sacrifices presented to God. There was dancing in celebration of the goodness and blessings of God, and David was the leader of the dancing. They placed the ark in the tent David prepared for it. Then, David wrote a special psalm for the occasion. The theme was the faithful love of God to His people and to all people of the world. (I Chronicles 16:34) We must never forget to lift our praises to God, so that everyone will see His faithful love and want it for themselves, too.

We should constantly have an attitude of thanksgiving. If we fail to have a heart of gratitude, our attitude before the Lord will not be acceptable to Him. He is due all of our thanks and praise all of the time. The reason is that the Lord is good. In fact, we can't fathom His goodness to everyone in the world all of the time. Even when we rebel against Him, He sustains our lives and gives us every opportunity to trust Him. He blesses us with many blessings, too many to count. All of this is because His faithful love endures forever. God's love is eternal, just like He is eternal. Man's love fails or comes to an end, but God's love never fails or ends. His love can be counted on forever, because He is always faithful. Let's all give Him abundant praise for His goodness and love, so all of those within our influence can know Him, too.

Tomorrow, I intend to read I Chronicles 17-20.
