Call to Me

God's promises are sure. He always keeps His promises perfectly. We need to focus on the promises of the Bible, memorize them, and live by them. We should be grateful for each one and tell Him. One of the greatest promises is concerning prayer. Jeremiah gave it to us. (Jeremiah 33:3) We should all know this promise, and we should practice it all of the time. I wonder how many of us applied this promise in our lives today? If we did, we saw the power of God.

Jeremiah told us that God is ready for us to pray to Him. In fact, He commands us to "call to Him." We should sincerely cry out to Him, realizing He will answer us. He may say "yes" or "no." He may say "wait." However, no matter what the answer is, He promises to show us "great and hidden things" that we have not known. Yes, He can and will do that when we call to Him, no matter what the answer is. Sometimes, "no" is the best answer because we learn something we did not know before. Sometimes, when He says "no," it opens the door for Him to show us great things in a different way than what we thought would happen. He is powerful, and He is faithful, so call to Him often in sincerity, and watch to see the wonderful things He does and what He teaches you.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Jeremiah 34-36.
