God Doesn't Hide His Will

Many people seem to be convinced that it is hard to know God's will. Nothing could be further from reality. God has gone to great lengths throughout history to reveal His will, and He has even put the vast majority of it in writing. (Amos 3:7) I am afraid the deficiency lies with us, not with God in this matter.

Ever since God's prophet, Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, and the book of Job was recorded for us to profit from his personal experience, God has been showing His secret counsel to His prophets. Then, they shared it in word and in writing, so that it was not secret any more, but very public. That is why we have the 66 books of the Bible. They are God's love letter to us so that we can know the will of our God. Then, in those cases where His will for our personal lives is not written, we can seek Him in prayer and go by the principles of His Word, His nature, and the counsel of godly people to allow His Spirit to guide us into all truth. Therefore, there is no excuse for anyone not to know the will of God.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Amos 5-7.
