God Meant It For Good

God is so powerful that even when we mean to do something evil, He can use that same action for good. (Genesis 50:20) That is a remarkable truth that says to all of us, we are not victims of what others may do to us, if we are trusting God. He can and will bring about His will in our lives, if we follow Him, though it may take years to work out the details. Our part is to faithfully trust Him fully each day, and never be discouraged or give up because of what others do.

I know that it hurts to rejected by other people, especially family, as Joseph was rejected by his brothers. It is very difficult to be enslaved or imprisoned. However, when we know the Lord, we can be content with our circumstances and be faithful to Him. Then, we can be confident that He can always bring good out of the evil things that happen to us. That should give all of us inspiration to trust the Lord fully, and it should give us great peace that God is in control, working all things for our good. (Romans 8:28)

Tomorrow, I intend to read Exodus 1-4.
