God is Bigger than Giants
Who or what are the giants in your life? What makes you afraid so that you want to stop going forward and go backward? Everyone has giants in their lives. If we focus on them, we will fail to see the power of God to overcome them. If we focus on the Lord, we will know that He is bigger than any giant.(Numbers 14:8.9) If God is with us, we need not fear anyone or anything.
God has a wonderful plan for your life, if you are one of His children. It will not be easy, and it may take some time to see it come to fruition, but it will come about if He delights in you. Fear of people and fear of the unknown will keep you from accomplishing His will for your life. People will oppose you. Powerful people may want to see you destroyed. It will not happen, if God blesses you because He sees that your heart is set on trusting Him. In fact, the powerful people will be brought down instead of you.
However, the opposite is true, also. The Israelites missed God's plan for their lives. They wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, because they looked at the giants and became so afraid they decided not to trust God to give them the land that flowed with milk and honey. Please, do not let that happen to you. Put your trust in God and His plan for you. Let Him fight for you. He will fight, but you have to take the first step in faith, not in fear.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Numbers 16-18.
