Racism is not Biblical or Christian

I would just like to make a simple point from Genesis 9:18,19. No Christian should be a racist, and there is no Biblical passage that teaches racism. If you think, I am wrong, I would love to hear from you. Over the years I have heard many people claim that the Bible teaches that some races are inferior to others. However, that view only comes from a very faulty interpretation of the Bible.

Genesis makes it clear that we all came from Adam and Eve. All people are human beings made in the image of God, even though we look differently on the outside. After the flood, the world was repopulated by Noah's family. Everyone came from his three sons, so everyone is a descendant of Noah. We are all "one blood" as it says in the book of Acts. When God cursed people, it was because of sin, and it has nothing to do with racial background.

Actually, racism is a belief that is based on the theory of evolution. If you don't believe me, read up on it. The secular, evolutionists were the ones who came up with the idea of inferior races and genetic engineering, because they do not believe in a God who created everything. Please, don't blame all of that on the Bible.

Instead, we need to love all races, and reach out to understand our differences, so we can share the truth of Jesus Christ with them. We are not superior to them by race. The only differences come from spiritual differences, so that once a person of any race comes to know Christ, we are brothers and sisters with them. We have the Holy Spirit and the mind of Christ, so we have a super-natural unity in Christ. I have personally experienced this with Christians of many different races.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Genesis 10-13.
