Solomon's Riches and Wisdom

Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.(II Chronicles 9:22) How did that happen in such a small country which was begun from a generation raised in slavery in Egypt? There is only one reason for that wealth and wisdom. It came from God. He promised to give Solomon both wisdom and riches, and God kept His promise. Today, we have many people who need money and wisdom. They look in many different places for these important elements for life. However, all wisdom comes from God, and all of the wealth in the world belongs to God, so we have to go to Him for both of these. Yes, I know some unbelievers have a lot of money. Even then, God grants them to have it for a reason. It is very important for us to recognize God as the source of all of the money and wisdom we have. Then, He will be inclined to give us more for His glory. If we do not seek these from Him as our source, He will not provide them for us, since we might be inclined to use them in the wrong ways. Tomorrow, I intend to read II Chronicles 11-13.
