When God Speaks
God never lies. He never has to take back what He has said, because it was wrong. He always follows through with what He has said. He always makes it good.(Numbers 23:19) Think about that for a minute.
When God speaks, He means what He says and says what He means. He never fails to do what He says He will do. Therefore, whatever He says in His Word, we can take it to the bank. Whenever He speaks to our hearts, which He can do, and He does on a regular basis, we should take Him at His word.
If you doubt anything God has said, try Him out. Take Him up on His promises, and see if He doesn't make them good. Test His truth, and see that it is not a lie. He wants to show you His character by His Word.
When God speaks, we all need to listen.
