Walking Through Earth To Eternity

This morning Amanda sang a song in worship that had this line in it, "walking through earth to eternity." It stuck in my mind the way some lyrics do, because of its amazing accuracy of life's drama. We walk through this earth and all it has to offer us. We focus on the material and on earthly relationships. However, in the end we are passing to eternity, and nothing here can prepare us. We all will pass into eternity, but only those who know Christ will have a secure home in a perfect place. The others will reap the consequences of their choice to reject God's revelation of Himself to them.

How is your walk through earth going? How are your preparations for eternity? Don't get side tracked and forget what is our ultimate destination. Please, make your reservations for eternity with Jesus.
