The Second Coming of Christ

 There are many people in the world who are concerned about the end of the world. They are afraid that things will get out of control and everyone will be killed and everything destroyed by some power or disaster. I believe there are people who try to spread this message to keep people in fear. I am here to say that we can have perfect peace about the end of the world, because God has a plan, and He is in charge of what will happen to us and the world.

Daniel had a dream in which God showed him what was going to happen in the future. He saw the coming of a future kingdom with 10 horns, or ten rulers, but then one horn sprung up and took over the kingdom. (Daniel 7:21,22) "As I watched, this horn was waging war against God's holy people and was defeating them, until the Ancient One - the Most High - came and judged in favor of His holy people. Then, the time arrived for the holy people to take over the kingdom." I believe these verses give us a glimpse of how God will bring about the end.

It seems clear to me that God is calling all people to trust Jesus as Lord and Savior, the only way to have salvation. However, most people are rejecting God's revelation. When the time is right, Jesus will come back in the clouds in what is called the Rapture. The believers who are alive will be given their eternal bodies and meet Him in the air, those who had died will be reunited with their bodies which will be made eternal, and they will all go to heaven. For seven years there will be the Great Tribulation on the Earth, as God punishes those who would not trust Jesus before the Rapture.

Then, the Antichrist, the little horn, will rule over a one world government, and he will set out to kill all of the people who turn to Jesus after the Rapture, the Jewish people who are alive and the ones who had not heard of Jesus before, but they turn to Him. God will protect the Jews, but many others will be killed or die of starvation, but they will go to heaven. Then, Jesus, the Most High, will return in power with all of the believers who were in heaven, and He  will defeat the Antichrist and his forces. He will set up His kingdom for 1,000 years. It will be ruled by Jesus and his holy people. We will reign with Christ 1,000 years during the Millennium.
