Undeniably God
From time to time we see things that are supernatural. They are things that could not have been done by human beings without the aid of God. It is at those times that the unbelievers around us are given the proof that there is a God, and He is alive and well, doing His work in this world. We should be praying and yielding ourselves to God, asking Him to use us to do such things for His glory.
That is exactly what happened in Israel when Nehemiah went back to build the wall. It is was huge task for the relatively unskilled Israelites to complete, but under the direction of Nehemiah, it was done in record time. (Nehemiah 6:15,16) The wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days. When this happened, all of their enemies and the nations living around them were very disheartened, for they perceived that this work was done by their God. It was undeniably God.
God is in the business of doing the impossible to prove Himself to us and to others around us. One of the worst sins we can commit is to limit God in our hearts and minds. If we are think that God can't do a particular thing, we will not have faith in Him, and we will not apply ourselves to see it done in His power. We miss a lot of blessings in this way, and others don't get to see God.
Instead of limiting God, we should be believing in the impossible and asking God to do it. That is when God shines. It is when we see His work in and through us, so that those around us are "disheartened." They realize the God they have been worshiping is not the One True God, and they know they need to give their heart to Him. That is what God wants to do, so let's let Him do it.
