God's Miraculous Provision

God is so good to provide for His children. Just like Psalm 23 says, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." God has His own unique way of supplying our needs when we are trusting Him and serving Him. It is an amazing experience each time He does it, and I have seen God provide in miraculous ways so many times over the years.

God worked many miracles in the life of His prophet Elijah. Some of those miracles were performed when Elijah had a need, and God met that need in an amazing way that was astounding to him and to others. (I Kings 17:6) God sent Elijah to the Brook Cherith when the famine was in the land, and then He had the ravens bring him bread and meat twice a day to feed him, and he had the brook for water. Then,  God sent him to a widow in Zarephath who was running out of flour and oil, but the bin of flour was not used up, and the jar of oil did not run dry, so they could eat. These had to be the Lord!

We see these types of miracles in the Bible over and over again as God proved Himself to be the Great Provider in a myriad of ways. Then, down through history since the days of the Bible, we have seen God continue to provide miraculously like He did for the Pilgrims who came to America. God takes care of those who are being used by Him to do His will. He is always faithful.

I just want to praise the Lord and give Him all of the glory for taking care of Chris and I during this time that she has been fighting pancreatic cancer. Even before her diagnosis He directed us to the right kind of insurance to meet our needs. Then, we have bought so much medicine and many kinds of special foods and vitamin supplements to fight her cancer, but God has more than covered the cost of our needs. I want everyone to know how our loving Lord has miraculously provided for us, and give Him all of the glory.
