The Lord Lives
God is alive and well. He always has been alive, and He will always be alive. God is eternal. Just think of that truth. It should change everything for us. We should do all we can to seek Him and to know Him. When we do, we will find that He is amazing. We will wonder how we ever made it in life without Him. We will worship Him and follow Him every day. David had found that out, and it changed his life so much. (Psalm 18:46,49) He blessed the Lord as his Rock. He saw the God of his salvation as the Exalted One seated on His throne in heaven, ruling the universe. Therefore, David was constantly thanking God for all of His blessing to him. He let everyone know, all the peoples, that God was the one who enabled him to do what He did. Then, He sang praises about God's name. He wrote psalms and sang praises about God's character, His perfect nature, so all would know the glories of God. We can learn a lot from what David said here.
Never doubt the Lord. Never doubt His existence or His ability. It is obvious that without Him there would not be anything that exists today. We would not be alive. We must praise Him and worship Him, blessing Him as our Rock. He is the firm foundation upon which we stand every day. He is the God who saved us. We should exalt Him even more for that glorious experience of coming to know Him in the forgiveness of our sins. Then, we should constantly be thanking God for all of the blessings He bestows on us, small and great. We should sing praises to His name so all can see that He is alive, He changed us, and He can change them, too. Let's keep our minds set on Him and have our hearts filled with His praises. Then, we will have the correct mindset to live every day for Him.
