Rainy Days and Relationships
It has been a long time since I have seen it rain all day, but today is one of those days. It is exactly like Houston, Texas. It has rained hard, harder, and hardest in cycles since early this morning. We have stayed in because there is no telling how flooded the roads are in many places.
However, it is the perfect climate for relationships. We have been able to talk about all kinds of things and to share our hearts with each other. We ought to do this more often, but it seems we have to have something to slow us down. Usually, we would go somewhere to do something together, which is good, but we do not have a chance to talk because of the activity.
We planned a day at the beach with friends. God had a different plan. His plan is always the best. He knew we needed more relationships so He sent the rain. That is fine with me.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 131-133.
