No More Tears
2018 was a very hard year for our family. There were many tears. We experienced death of our loved ones more than once. We are mourning their loss even now. We have had all types of pain, both physical and emotional. All of these things make the last two chapters of the Bible all the more sweet for us, as this year comes to an end. We know there is a much better day coming. In that day and in that perfect place of heaven, God will wipe away every tear. Death will be no more, so there will be no mourning either. In fact, there will be no more crying or pain. (Revelation 21:4) Hallelujah! I am looking forward to that day. Are you?
For those who know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are assured that one day the things of earth will pass away. The nature of heaven and life there will be completely different from the nature of life now. We will have the light of the Lord to guide us eternally. We will be filled with His joy and love for all people. There will be nothing there that brings pain or division. We will be together with our loved ones forever, to enjoy the Lord together. Each year that I live, there are more reasons to long for Jesus to come and take us all to be with Him. Therefore, I can say with the joy, surely come quickly, Lord Jesus.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Genesis 1-3.
