God Hates All Injustice
God is holy. He is altogether righteous in His actions. He hates anything that is not righteous. He hates sin.Yes, He loves people, but He hates their sins. Therefore, He has to pour out His anger against those sins. That is what He did to Israel, Judah, and Assyria. (Isaiah 10:1,2) That is what He will do today. That is why the people of God must stand up for righteousness, and we must stand against all forms of injustice in our country the world.
God hates unjust laws that are passed by politicians. It may be that they will profit from them, or that others will profit from them. However, when they pass such laws, they are saying that unrighteousness is the law of the land. God hates that.
God hates judges and others who record unjust decisions. They decree that right is wrong, and wrong is right.They turn morality and truth upside down, so that the people do not know what is right. God hates that.
Some people deprive the needy of justice and rob the poor, so they can profit. God always desires for us to watch out for the needy and the poor. He has a heart for them, and so should we. He especially cares for the widows and the orphans. He will not hold us guiltless if we allow them to be deprived of their needs. We are to be generous to the needy and the poor.
I urge all of us to pray fervently and to act on the behalf of righteousness in our country and society. We are to be the salt and the light, so if we do not stand up, no one will.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Isaiah 11-13.
