If God is For Us
Do you ever feel things are hopeless, or do you feel like you just can't be victorious in life? That is the Devil trying to keep you down. The truth is that if you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, God is on your side. When God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) This verse should be known and cherished by all believers.
Did you ever play sports when you were younger? If so, there was probably a player that everyone wanted to be on their team. This person was so dominate in the sport that his or her team always won the game. In the game of life that player is God. If God is on our team, if He is for us, who can stand against us? No one is able to defeat God. Therefore, God plus one is a majority.
Please, do not allow fear, anxiety, and hopelessness to invade your life. Remember the truth of this verse, and be determined to trust God to see you through. He is always faithful, and He never fails His children.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Romans 11-14.
