The Process of Learning
Some people have a very hard time learning what they need to learn. I believe it all goes back to one basic principle: Until a person admits that he or she does not know everything, they won't learn anything. Learning begins with the fear of the Lord.(Proverbs 1:7) This verse shows us the principle, because God knows everything, When we realize that and fear Him with a godly fear and respect, we are admitting we don't know everything. Then, we can learn from Him and others.
On the other hand, a person is a fool if he or she does not seek wisdom and instruction from the Lord and from others. We can only get wisdom from the Lord, but many times He shows it to us through other people. We can learn from anyone, but we especially can learn from other believers, if we will just listen to them and not despise the process of learning. We can never have enough wisdom while we are on earth, so we always need instruction. We need to humbly receive it from the Lord and those He brings into our lives.
