Shine
The book of Daniel ends with a prophecy about a very dark time in the latter days, which we call the Tribulation. It will be such a terrible time that everyone would die, if God did not shorten the days. It is at those dark times that believers should shine the brightest.(Daniel 12:3) We are lights in this dark world, reflecting the light of the Lord Jesus to all around us. How is your light shining?
There is a huge lack of godly wisdom today. People who show God's wisdom shine forth as bright lights in the darkness of night. That is what we need today. Wisdom is seeing things the way God does. It comes only from God, so we have to be close to Him and stay in His Word to have His wisdom. Then, those who turn many to righteousness shine like stars forever. That is the heart of Jesus Christ. He came to seek and to save those who are lost. He came to serve and not to be served. He came to show forth the glory and power of God by how He lived and what He said. Now, that is our commission. If we do not shine the light to those around us, they will be lost in the dark forever.
Please, make it your intention to shine brightly with godly wisdom and witness all of the days of your life, as this world gets darker and darker leading to the Tribulation. You are the only light that can shine into certain lives. They will not see the light from me, but they will see your light. They will listen to wisdom and witness from you. Please, shine!
