Not Forsaken

One of the traps of Satan is to make people feel that God has forsaken them, and there is no hope for them. The story of God's people in Jeremiah should put this to rest.(Jeremiah 51:5) Even after all of their sins and the terrible punishment God had to sent on them, He did not forsake them. He was still longing for them to return, so He could restore them to a right relationship with Him.

Is that your situation? Have you sinned, and you feel so far from God that you think He has forsaken you? Please, don't let Satan keep you in that dungeon. God is waiting. Run to Him. Yes, there is an unpardonable sin, but you have probably not so cursed the Holy Spirit that He is not drawing you to the Lord any more, if you have the slightest desire to be right with God. Listen to the Lord, not the devil. Find the life God has for you through Jesus, the Lord.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Lamentations 1-4.
