Just a Little Won't Be So Bad
How many times do we think that just a little sin won't be so bad? It is one of the favorite lies of Satan, because it works so well. Sin is fun, or it would not be tempting. However, it always has devastating consequences. That is why God hates it, and He does not want us to take even one step in the direction of sin.
He knows that sin will take you further than you want to go.
It will keep you longer than you want to stay,
and it will cost you more than you want to pay.
That is not a verse from the Bible, but it is the reality of sin. We must purpose in our hearts to stay as far away from it as we can. In fact, with God's help we can stay away from it. Once we do, we find that His life is far better than sin.
