One of Satan's Worst Lies
Satan is the father of lies, so he has a multitude of falsehoods that he tries to lead people to embrace. He is very smart. I am often amazed at what he can convince people to do or to think. He studies our lives, so that he knows our weaknesses. He uses everything he knows against us to bring destruction and defeat into our lives.
One of his worst lies is, "Go ahead and kill yourself. That will make it better for everyone." He is able to convince many people that this is true, when it is obviously false. The loved ones will miss you, and they will not be happier, even with the insurance money. Also, the saddest part is that many people who do not know Christ become convinced that death will bring an end to struggling and pain, when actually it will greatly increase both. It is proof of how miserable people really become in life. They are grasping at anything to bring peace, even when they have heard the Good News of Jesus and rejected it. Satan is very good at his work.
I pray that we all will enter the spiritual battle against him and his forces of demons, so that we can help those who are being sucked into his lies find freedom and real peace. The only weapons that work are the spiritual ones like prayer and the Word of God. Let's use them to stand against Satan, and he has to flee. Then, let's tell these poor souls the truth of God's grace.
