Jesus is Lord of all
Let me give one truth this evening for all people for all times. Either Jesus is Lord of all, or He is not Lord at all. Jesus is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. There was no big bang. There was no evolution of one species to another. Jesus made it all, and He holds it together by His power. He is in control of His creation. He and the Father will bring it to an end as the Father has said. Nothing happens out of the sphere of His dominion.
Now, there is one more part of this truth. Either Jesus is Lord of all of your life, or He is not Lord at all. He forces Himself on no one. However, He calls whosoever to come to Him and confess Him as Lord of all. This confession is a personal surrender to Jesus as Lord of all and as Lord of that person's life. He makes no deals with people. There is no salvation outside of Jesus, and there is no salvation, unless Jesus is Lord.
He is love; He is gracious, kind, and merciful, but first and always, He is Lord!
Tomorrow, I intend to read Zechariah 4-6.
