Positive Testimonies
Isn't it great to hear a testimony from a Christian who has a positive testimony? With all of the things in the news lately it is hard to imagine what non-Christians are thinking. They need to see believers living out their faith in the Lord.
Today, I spoke to a young man from the Dominican Republic who came to Georgia to get a college degree in music. He was a member of the church in the DR that we work with. I have been praying for him, because I know all of the temptations in America. I am so glad to tell you that he received his degree in music, and now he is preparing for the ministry. He is trusting the Lord in everything. He just bought a car, and he got a great deal because he waited on the Lord. On the phone today he was giving all of the credit to the Lord. What a blessing!
There are thousands of Christians who have it together, and they are living their lives by trusting Jesus. They are growing in their faith. They are living out the love of Jesus toward others in a godly way. It is ashamed that the media usually only tells us about the false prophets and the deceivers. We need to stand up and let people see Jesus in us, so those around us will not be swayed by the media or the people who claim to be believers, but live ungodly lives.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Joel 3 and Amos 1-3.
