Major Adjustments in Life
Most people do not like change. They find a certain amount of security in things staying the same. However, God knows that we can easily become complacent about life, so He calls on us to make adjustments to do His will. Sometimes, those adjustments are major changes like moving to a new place or changing jobs. When those types of things happen, we are trusting God to lead us and to prepare for us the new challenges. That causes our faith to grow, if we trust Him as we should.
I do not know what major adjustments you may be going through right now, but I know God is there for you. We will have a new baby in our home in a day or so. That is a big change for us. In some ways it will be very refreshing, and in some ways it will be draining. In every way it will be an opportunity to allow God to be our strength and our source of all we need. It will lead us closer to Him. I am looking forward to what God is going to do through this major adjustment.
I pray that you will have the same outlook as you face major changes in your life. Remember, the only things that is constant is change. There is no way to stay the same, even if we want to. We must embrace the changes which God brings.
This morning I read Numbers 9-11 and Mark 5:1-20.
