Preparing for Another Grandson
Our home is a beehive of activity all of the time, but now, we are in overdrive. Dixie is going to have her baby boy on March 6 by C-section, and she is living with us, so we are getting everything ready for another grandson! If you are an expert furniture assembly person, you can come by any time. In the next few weeks we will be assembling a baby bed and the other furniture. We will be arranging all of the clothes, preparing to have another baby in the house. It has been 25 years since that joy was ours.
In fact, we are anticipating a remodeling job on our house to make room for Chris's mother, as well as Dixie and the baby. If all goes well, the construction will begin on February 16. It should take 3 or 4 weeks to complete, and then, we will have plenty of space for our family.
I am happy to say that Dixie is doing well. Chris and I are doing well, too. We covet your prayers for us all. It will be interesting to see how God works this all out. I have not doubt that He can and will do it in a wonderful way. However, if you knew the pace of our lives now, you would wonder how we could gear it up much higher. It is great to be busy, and it will be great to have another grandson. What a blessing from the Lord. I just pray that he and Dixie will be very healthy and happy. I know as long as Dixie continues to seek the Lord as she has been doing that God will bless her and her son in a great way. God is so good!
Tomorrow, I intend to read Leviticus 6-7 and Matthew 25:1-30.
