God Cares for His People
When we have troubles, we are tempted to doubt that God is real or that He loves us. However, He is very real, and He loves us very much. That is especially true for those who belong to Him, because they have put their faith in Him. When God sent Israel into exile, they thought that He had left them. However, when He brought them back to the land, and He did not leave any of them there, they knew He was the Lord their God, and He still cared. (Ezekiel 39:28) The same is true for us today.
God allows troubles into our lives, or He sends troubles into our lives to punish us for our sins, or to help us to grow stronger in our faith in Him. Either way, He does not forsake us. He is there, if we will turn to Him. He will bring us back to where we ought to be after our ordeal, and we will know even better than before, that He is the Lord our God. Please, do not give up on God when things are not going well. Know that He has a purpose, and His purpose comes out of His love. He can't let us drift away into sin, and He has to help us grow. All we need to do is to remain steadfast in our faith in Him and wait to see what He will do, as we are being faithful to Him and His laws.
