Do No Injustice in Judgment

God is always just, and He commands all believers to be just in our judgment like Him. (Leviticus 19:15) It is not always easy, but it is always correct to judge others fairly, not giving preference to any individual or group, and not being unfair to any individual or group.

As humans, we have a tendency to relate well to others who are like us. Also, we have prejudices toward types of people, whether it is other races or other socio-economic groups. Some people may favor the rich, while others favor the poor. Some people may be against people of other races, while others show preference to the same people. When we know this tendency, and we know that the Lord wants us to be just in our judgment, we have to discipline our judgment to follow God's laws and not our preferences or tendencies. It comes down to being objective, applying the laws equally to all people.

We are to see everyone as God sees them. He looks on the heart. He does not give preference because of looks or financial reasons, when it comes to judgment. That is how God expects us to be, so that we are always just in our judgment.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Leviticus 22-25
