The Top Question for Believers at the Judgment

Jesus made sure we knew His objective for the life of every one of His disciples. It is spelled out in the last verses of Matthew. (Matthew 28:18-20) Most of us know it, but how many are accomplishing it? There is not doubt that Jesus' top question when we stand before Him to give an account for our lives will be, "How many disciples did you make?"

This objective is for all believers. It is fairly simple, but not easy. However, with God's power and our efforts, it is very possible. We are to lead people to trust Christ as Lord and Savior, see them baptized, teach them all we know, and send them out to make disciples as well. We have not made a disciple until we see a new believer born into God's family, and we see him or her living for Christ and leading others to Him. That is our one objective. It is urgent. It is Plan A, and there is not Plan B for seeing people avoid eternity in Hell.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Mark 1-3.
