Signs of The Times
It is hard to believe all of things that are happening around us today, unless we remember what Jesus told His disciples and us. (Matthew 24:9,10) He made it clear that His children are to remain faithful to Him, even though things will get worse and worse before He returns. There are many views of what the Bible says, but some things are very clear, and we see them happening today. Are you seeing the signs and preparing yourself?
The events around us show exactly what Jesus said. Christians are being delivered up to tribulation and many are being killed around the world. Christians are hated by the nations of the world, so that most governments would rather not have Christians in their country. They are making laws to restrict the rights and freedoms of believers. Many people are offended by the Bible and the beliefs of Christians. People are betraying each other, and there is much hatred toward believers. We see all of this happening now, so we can rejoice that God is carrying out His plan for this earth. It should strengthen our faith in the Lord and His Word.
Therefore, now is the time to prepare our hearts be faithful witnesses and even martyrs for the Lord, if that is God's will. As the darkness grows, the light will shine brighter, if we are close to the Lord and empowered by His Spirit. Remember, nothing can happen to a believer living in God's will that He does not allow, and with the trial He will guide us and empowers us to live for Him. What a great time to be alive, as we see the prophecies being fulfilled before our eyes.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Matthew 26-28.
