The Power of One Praying Believer
God hears the prayers of His saints. In fact, He looks for those who will build a wall and stand in the gap for a country or a cause. Are you one of those prayer warriors? If so, you could be the reason America has not been destroyed yet.(Ezekiel 22:30) That shows the power of one praying believer.
Sometimes, we think, "I am only one person, so what can I do?" If we will pray and pray earnestly, we can make a huge difference in the lives of people and in the life of our country. When we are too busy to pray, we are allowing the slow erosion and gradual slide to destruction for a person or a country. God is looking for intercessors. If we will volunteer, He will put us to work praying for individuals and our nation.
Tomorrow is 9-11-14. Many people are afraid of an attack on America, but how many are standing in the gap. We can be afraid, or we can remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear. He has called for us to trust Him in everything. Then, anything is possible, including an Awakening in our Land, instead of destruction. Will we pray to that end?
Our church is having a Relationship Revival September 21-24 with evangelist Steve Franz. Are we praying? If we will pray, we can see souls saved and turned to the Lord, instead of being destroyed. Please, take God at His Word, and determine to be an intercessor, so we can see Him work in a mighty way.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Ezekiel 24-26.
