God has given Us Victory
It seems to me that most people like to win at whatever they are doing. I have met very few people who are totally fine with losing all of the time. We like to win at sports, whether we are playing ourselves or just watching our teams play. Of course, we like to win when our country has to go to war. Winning is the goal. Victory is better than defeat. The great thing is that God gives us victory in our lives as we trust Him and follow His will.
Moses and the Hebrew people saw God give them a great victory at the Red Sea as He opened it up for them to cross on dry ground and then closed in over the Egyptian army. (Exodus 15:2) Moses wrote a song of praise after that victory proclaiming, "The Lord is my strength and my song. The Lord has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise Him - my father's God, and I will exalt Him." I believe this is true for every believer who is faithful to believe the Lord and follow Him.
God wants all of us to have His strength and to have His song in our hearts. After all, the Bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength. He is there to give us victory as we trust Him as our God, as we praise Him and exalt Him every day. God gave the Hebrews victory over their enemies, water to drink in the wilderness, and plenty of food for 40 years in the desert. He was so good to them after they came out of slavery in Egypt.
He will be good to us, as we have come out of our slavery to sin, if we will just faithfully follow Him. Let Him put His song in your heart and be your strength by depending on Him daily. Ask Him for the victories you need in your life over enemies or in other areas. He is faithful to give us those victories. Trust Him and see if He won't supply your needs, as He did for Israel. Then, give Him all of the praise and exalt His name before all people.
