God's Provision in the Wilderness

God is so compassionate and good to us. He even sustains us when we have rebelled against Him. He takes care of us when we are going through a time of punishment for our sin. The Israeites experienced this for the 40 years they were wandering in the wilderness. (Nehemiah 9:21). They were not in want. Their clothes did not wear out. Their feet did not swell, even though they walked everywhere they went. That shows all of us the amazing provision of God.

Many people think that God quits caring for us when we are unfaithful to Him. Nothing could be farther from the truth. God is love. He is merciful and gracious to all people.  Yes, He has to punish our sins, but He does so in love. He wants the punishment to draw us back to a close relationship with Him.  Therefore,  He still takes care of us, like He did for Israel. Please, thank God for His compassion and provision.  Then, run to Him, the One who loves you.
